Enforcement Actions The enforcement of air quality regulations must concentrate first on obtaining compliance and second providing an effective deterrence for non-compliance. The District is committed to fair, reasonable, and equitable treatment of regulated sources. If you receive a NTC or NOV, you should take immediate and approriate steps to correct the situation, including ceasing operations, following the breakdown procedures, or remedying the problem.
