The Sacramento Valley Basinwide Air Pollution Control Council (BCC) is currently soliciting Requests for Proposals in accordance with the schedules in Section VII to fill a vacancy of the Basin Coordinator Position. This position also acts as the Smoke Management Program Coordinator (SMPC) as specified in the Smoke Management Program (SMP).
The BCC is a public agency authorized pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section (HSC) §40900. The BCC consists of an elected official of, and designated by, the air pollution control district governing board of each air district within the Sacramento Valley Air Basin (SVAB).
The SVAB is comprised of the Butte County Air Quality Management District, the Colusa County Air Pollution Control District, the Feather River Air Quality Management District, the County of Glenn Air Pollution Control District, the Placer County Air Pollution Control District, the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, the Shasta County Air Quality Management District, the Tehama County Air Pollution Control District, and the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District.
The contract term shall be from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020 and may be renewed thereafter upon determination of satisfactory performance and mutual consent.
