The Board of Directors for the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District adopted the final budget for the 2021/2022 Fiscal Year on September 8, 2021. A copy of the FY 2021/2022 Final Budget is available here.
Yolo-Solano AQMD’s fiscal year is July 1 to June 30. Budget development starts mid-fiscal year. Staff meets with the Budget and Audit Committee of the Board prior to the proposed budget public hearing, typically held in June. If approved, this proposed budget goes into effect beginning July 1. The final budget, using finalized financial information from the prior fiscal year, is brought back before the Board in September. This meets the requirements the California Health & Safety Code.
